At VCCarTool, we are committed to providing our customers with high-quality products and reliable after-sales support. This Warranty Policy defines the scope, terms, and procedures for warranty coverage on both hardware and software products purchased directly from VCCarTool.

1. General Terms

  • The warranty terms and duration are determined by the specific product type and will be based on the warranty policy applicable at the time of invoice.
  • This policy applies only to products purchased directly from VCCarTool official sales channels.
  • Warranty service is valid only when the customer provides proof of purchase (invoice/order ID).
  • Contact our support team before sending any product for warranty service.

2. Warranty Periods

2.1 Hardware Warranty

  • Includes: diagnostic tools, devices, interface boxes, adapters, cables, accessories, and bundled gifts.
  • Warranty period: 180 days (6 months) from the date of product receipt.
  • Replacement guarantee: If a manufacturer defect is confirmed within 7 days of delivery, the item is eligible for direct exchange or return.

2.2 Software Warranty

  • Includes: operating systems (Windows), drivers, software packages, and individual software licenses.
  • Warranty period: 365 days (12 months) from the date of activation.
  • Both parties must confirm that the software functions properly upon installation.

2.3 Warranty on Replacements

In the case of repair or replacement, the warranty period remains unchanged and continues from the original purchase date.

3. Warranty Eligibility

3.1 Hardware

Warranty will be honored if all the following conditions are met:

  • Product is still within the warranty period.
  • Damage is due to manufacturer defect only (not user mishandling).
  • All warranty and sealing labels remain intact, not erased or torn.
  • Product is physically intact, without signs of drops, shocks, water exposure, or disassembly.
  • The serial number on the product matches that on the warranty card/invoice.
  • The customer must contact technical support to verify the issue before returning the product for service.

3.2 Software

Warranty applies only if:

  • The software is within the warranty period.
  • The issue is not caused by conflicts with other software or user actions.
  • During the usage period, the customer must not:
  • Reinstall or update Windows without confirmation.
  • Replace or modify the hard drive.
  • Upgrade firmware or connect to unauthorized devices.
  • Update software versions without VCCarTool’s approval.
  • The customer must contact support to verify that the issue is not caused by external factors.

4. Non-Warranty Cases

VCCarTool will not be responsible for warranty or free repairs in the following cases:

  • Damage caused by misuse, improper installation, or accidental impact.
  • Products damaged by fire, liquid exposure, electrical surges, or corrosion.
  • Any alteration of serial numbers or tampering with seals.
  • Software failures caused by unauthorized updates or third-party modifications.
  • Products purchased from unauthorized dealers or resellers.

5. Warranty Process

Contact Support:

Customers must first reach out via WhatsApp or email to describe the issue and receive confirmation for warranty eligibility.

Shipping for Warranty:

  • Customers are responsible for shipping costs to the VCCarTool warranty center.
  • After inspection and repair, VCCarTool will cover the return shipping cost.

Repair or Replacement Time:

  • Hardware: 20 business days from receipt of goods (excluding shipping time).
  • Software: 7–10 business days after problem confirmation.

Replacement or Repair Decision:

VCCarTool reserves the right to decide whether a defective product will be repaired or replaced with an equivalent model.

6. Limitations of Liability

  • VCCarTool’s total liability is limited to the original purchase price of the product.
  • VCCarTool is not responsible for data loss, indirect damages, or loss of business resulting from product malfunction.
  • This warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original purchaser.
